Art of Aromas 2020

The past Friday, January 31st, 2020, we hosted our 4th Art of Aromas Scholarship Competition.  We had over 130 students from the Miami Arts Charter School Wynwood participating and delighting us with the most amazing art, photography, and installations. The purpose of the competition was to create an art piece inspired by a scent; in return, the Doctor Aromas Foundation awarded the winners with a total of $4,500 to put towards their artistic future.

This year’s scent was one of our adored fall fragrances, Alegria. It is a soft and sensual blend of exquisite florals, combined with delicate Jasmines, sweet Vanilla Orchid, and warm Apple accents infused with Orange and Cedar-wood essential oils. Students weren’t aware of the notes or the name of the scent until ceremony night and were encouraged to not only be inspired by the fragrance but also to include it in the piece.
 
We want to thank everyone who attended the event, and, of course, congratulate every talented student who submitted their work. You are ALL winners, and we are proud of you! Here is a little recap on how the night went:
